Your New Normal
Chronic illness can often feel like a battle. Against ourselves, against a society not designed for disabled bodies and a system riddled with holes. So many of us try to fight against our new experiences, but it usually just leaves us feeling more overwhelmed, frustrated, and disappointed. There's another way.
Together, we can build on strengths you already have, find support systems, and learn new strategies to manage the challenges as they arise. You can still live a good life. One that is rich, meaningful, and connected, even when you're having difficult symptoms.
If you receive income support from the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), Canada Pension Plan - Disability (CPP-D), or Passport, and require financial assistance for therapy services, you may be eligible for our PRO BONO Program*.
There are far too many barriers in our society for obtaining accessible, qualified healthcare if you have a chronic illness or disability. Your therapist shouldn’t be one of them — but all too often that’s what we’re hearing! That’s why we created this program, which offers 24 free individual therapy sessions from a qualified professional with lived experience as a chronic warrior.
*Enrollment is based on eligibility and program availability. Limited spots available. Please contact to learn more.
